CrossFit Kids

CrossFit Kids is a strength and conditioning program combining gymnastics, body-weight movements and weight lifting elements designed to be fun for kids of all ages. Since most parents want their kids to grow up healthy and strong, avoiding the common problems associated with childhood inactivity and obesity, we have a program which is built for universal scalability. This makes it the perfect fitness program for any individual regardless of age or experience.
It is important to recognise that CrossFit Kids is not simply a scaled down version of CrossFit, it is entirely CrossFit geared and designed for a our younger population and the specific developmental needs of our children (neurological, cognitive, motor).
CrossFit Kids delivers a fitness that is designed to be broad, general, inclusive and fun. Healthy living requires that our kids push, pull, run, throw, climb, lift and jump effectively and safely regardless of whether or not they play sport. We take those principal movements and incorporate them into our classes across all ages in a fun way, so that they want to do it. Our CrossFit Kids classes are currently ran by Ashley McFee. Ashley has a vast experience of coaching adults and children. He is a a certified CrossFit Level 2 Trainer and CrossFit Kids Trainer. All our staff have a full and up-to-date CRB clearance. At CrossFit Jacana we are very passionate about children and their health and well-being. It is important to us for them to experience the positive effects of exercise.

We have a CrossFit Kids class every Saturday:
12:15- 13:00 3-6 year old
13:15-14:00 7-14 year old
